This unfortunately is a common thing when it comes to growing a business. You start out with a ton of time, energy, and drive. You provide amazing work and you get more clients.
Then you max out your time. So you bring on someone else (most times quickly) and they don’t provide the same level of service. So you start to get unhappy clients.
You are too busy to fix the issue so you continue on and it gets worse and worse.
What went wrong? Well the problem, in this case, is you didn’t set yourself up for scaling and growth and document the proper things to allow for bringing on someone else.
